Once you have your custom Auctiva Template created and ready to go the next step is to either create an auction or save a new Item Details Profile that contains your template. This tutorial will walk you through the process of creating a new listing, however creating an item details profile is the same process with the main difference being that the profile is intended for later use. 1. Create New Auction
Our first step is to navigate to the Create New button under the Listings tab. This will take us to the Create eBay Listing page and will allow us to add our item details and ultimately our Auctiva Template.
2. Select a Template
At any point during the auction creation process you can click the Select Template and this will open a new window that will allow us to choose the template that we added in the previous tutorial, or any template for that matter.
3. Choose Custom Template
Under “Select Templates” is a list of template categories that we can choose. Our template is a custom template so it only makes sense to choose this option. Once you select “Custom” all of your custom templates will display on the right hand side.
4. Select a Template
Now that our templates are shown on the right hand side we can choose to preview or select a template. So click select and the dialogue box will close and we will have our auction set up and ready to go with our custom template!
5. Finish Creating the Auction and Your Done
