Review
Auctiva is a full featured eBay management tool that is designed to save you time and money while increasing sales. The heart of the Auctiva system is its one-page lister which allows sellers to create auctions quickly and effectively. The convenience and speed that is possible with the one-page lister is further compounded with Auctiva’s profiles feature. Profiles allow you to save and later load information into an auction. You can create profiles for item details, marketing, shipping, checkout and auto-relist preferences. You can then create a master profile that contains the aforementioned profiles. This makes creating auctions a snap because most of the information is already loaded into the one-page lister and most of the time you only have to fill in details such as price, description, and images.
Although profiles and the one page lister are a big part to what makes Auctiva so great there is much more to Auctivas management system. Auctiva offers the ability to track your inventory by adding/ creating a new inventory item, and assigning that inventory item to an auction from within the one-page lister. You can use this new inventory information to launch auctions until stock is out, or to have the system notify you when stock is low.
The above are just some of the great features that Auctiva brings to the table. Auctiva also has great post sales features such as auto emails and feedback. You will also get an Auctiva store which will feature all of your eBay auctions, and Auctiva even has features to run a consignment business. Auctiva is currently running a 30 day trial so now is a great time to give them a try.
Editor Review
For the past few months I have been using both Auctiva and Inkfrog as my main management tools. I am doing this because eventually I will be writing a comprehensive comparison that highlights the differences between Auctiva vs. Inkfrog. During this time I honestly cant see why one system is better than the other, they are both great at what they do, and they both do almost the exact same things.
With that being said I feel that Auctiva is deserving of a near perfect review. At $9.99 a month they provide a very affordable eBay application that simply does everything a seller could want. The one page lister, along with prefilled profiles makes creating auctions a snap, and the ability to save those auctions as inventory or quickly schedule them for later is a great convenience.
What really makes Auctiva great is that they are never satisfied with their product. Since I started using them almost 3 years ago, the product has grown, become more user friendly and received many user interface face lifts. This tells me that Auctiva will always have a great product that is one step ahead.
Similarly to my Inkfrog review I have to point out a few things that I would like to see improvement with. Firstly as with Inkfrog they need some help with their template department. I think most people will agree that the current assortment of Auctiva templates is too plain, and in need of some work. The other area where they need some improvement is in the consignment realm. I once attempted to do some consignment work with Auctiva, but it just wasn’t very user friendly. You might be thinking “who does eBay consignment anymore anyway?”. Well the truth is many people are still doing it successfully and I think it would be great to be able to do all consignment work from within one software without having to purchase a separate piece of software such as Auction Wagon.
In the end neither of these downsides are a big deal. One reason is because eBayAppReview.com has a great variety of Auctiva templates, and another is because most people don’t do consignment, like you said. So if you haven’t already be sure to check out the great auction software that is Auctiva.
